It took a few tries, but the wait was absolutely worth it.
This house didn’t work for everyone. It is, without a doubt, stunning. It is, without a doubt, enough space to settle into and grow in. It is, without a doubt, a forever home. But due to it’s location, it wasn’t a house for everyone.
But for our buyers, it was perfect. They wanted to be on a main road. They wanted a newly built home. They wanted space to grow together. They wanted a very particular aesthetic. And really, with all the news of a Buyer’s Market, they wanted to feel like they got a good deal.
And without a doubt, they got a great deal. This home was previously listed much higher when it initially hit the market, and by the time we got there, they were ready to let the property go to the right buyer, even at a lower price. Because we knew our clients were focused on finding that unicorn deal, the homework we needed to do up front, before any showings happened, was heavy. We needed to understand if the sellers at properties of interest were able to work with our buyer’s budget before we even stepped through the door, and often that meant forming a relationship with the listing agent long before negotiations started. Even though we tried with multiple properties and had a conditional deal fall through after a couple weeks of due diligence, we are so incredibly pleased for our clients on buying the best home we saw in the whole bunch.
