Putting Down Roots

A huge congratulations to our wonderful buyers.

This one has a bit of a story. Last summer we sold their condo and made a plan together: take a short term lease, watch the market carefully, and be ready when the right house appeared. The goal was simple. Trade concrete for grass and put down roots somewhere they could really grow into.

When Marlow came up, we thought it might be a straightforward win. Charming semi, great street, right pocket of the Danforth.

Naturally… it turned into multiple offers.

Cue the usual offer night scramble. Last minute questions, calls with the listing agent right up to the eleventh hour so we could get comfortable enough to go in clean and firm. And in the end, they won the house on their very first offer.

Part of what made this home special was the personality of it all. A seller who clearly loved the place. A stack of handwritten notes detailing every upgrade and fix over the years. A backyard with a handmade wooden dog bed tucked into the garden. Even a little “watch your head” note in the shed, the kind of detail that tells you someone really lived here and took care of it.

Now it’s ready for its next chapter.

A front porch, a backyard, and a place to finally put down roots. We couldn’t be happier for them.
